I am looking to purchase a First timem hand gun, And I was advised that flash Suppressors are more accurate.
which models can I use it for.

Search google. You'll quickly find that there are threaded bbls & suppessors for most guns from the all major players, (HK, Beretta, HK, even Walther). It's had to tell if this is just after market stuff or from the manufacturer, but its out there. (Just not here, well except for JTF2 and hopefully CSIS)

Sig makes a 226 with a threaded barrel.
They made less than 400 units and as far as I know none made it to Canada. HK's seem to be the only guns sold in Canada that are readily available with factory threaded barrels.

The question was about a flash suppressor, not a sound suppressor the later which is illegal to us peasants. And to " spindaddya" : on a first handgun you probably won't notice any difference in accuracy with or without a flash suppressor. After a thousand rounds or so your skill may be at a level to see a difference one way or the other. My guess would be any screw on device on a barrel would probably degrade the accuracy. On the other hand what you were advised about may have been a compensator this is fastened to the end of the barrel rather permanently and does change felt recoil and improve follow up shots and may make some firearms more accurate. But they usually don't suppress any flash, in fact some are spectacular in the flash department.

*coughs up diet coke onto keyboard* DAMNIT
Did you say CSIS? The CSIS 'operators' would be lucky to get trained on a firearm let alone have access to supressors. Too bad Canada hasn't found it necessary to form a foreign intelligence service yet. I suppose a global war on terrorism, nuclear proliferation and rising arms trafficking aren't high priorities. :?

"...flash Suppressors are more accurate..." Nope. It makes no difference. If a pistol doesn't shoot well, a flash suppressor won't help. However, few handguns have flash supressors.
A compensator on a .45 or anything else isn't a flash suppressor. A compensator only re-directs the gasses to reduce muzzle jump and the felt recoil. There's no flash suppression at all.
