Martin, get the model that telescopes out to a max of 15", that way if you find yourself amongst wild grass, etc, you'll be okay...it's their top seller for a reason.
The other thing you want is the "S" model that pivots so you can level your rifle out
when you're on a slope or rough ground...it's not much more money but a big bonus.
