Based on Hornady's brochure, .355 PTX is the one for 9mm. However, lots of ppl had a terrible time with both .355 & .357.For the 10-12 bucks get both of them. The shipping will be more than that.
I am just finishing up a stockpile of 38's and my next mission is 9 mm so I can't comment of which one works better yet. If I had my choice I would use a die expander but I don't have one for 9 mm and I do have the PTX.
I hope you can find one, when I bought mine I had a hey of a time locating them. P&D in Edmonton had some last time I was there.

I do have expander dies but I want to use RCBS Lock-out & dedicated Lee factory crimp dies, hence the need for PTX. I'm procrastinating - don't want to give up the LockOut die but don't feel good about PTX either..
Which one do you guys use for 9mm - the .355 or the .357? TIA.
LOL, the more I read about the 9mm PTX the more complaints I see... Is ANYONE using the 9mm PTX?![]()
