Which M1? 10/22 Stock build or Chiappa

Ruger is getting into the 10/22 M1 game (new Talo exclusive model):
Did they have to copy the ulgy pot belly stock.
If you aren't afraid of getting your hands dirty the JW-14 is a fun rugged vaguely M1 looking gun. Got mine for CHEAP it runs flawlessly and cycles quiets. Only issue I had was the trigger assembly not being tightened down on assembly. A strip and clean fixed that, since then zero issues, just put about 1500 rounds through mine.

Interesting, takes some of the fun out of building one though. I don't like the look of the rail on the top, but I guess you could just chuck it out.
