Which Milsurp still eludes your collection?

From a couple years ago:

I hesitated. Why did I hesitate??

A decent k98k. I can get Soviet captures and Israeli acquired rifles but a decent German rifle seems impossible in my neck of the woods.

A Type 99 with aircraft sights and monopod. I know these are stupid hard to find and pricy when found so I'd settle for just a decent one without the sights and monopod.

The responses make for interesting reading. As a group, we do have good taste :p

Have been fairly lucky to be able to pick up the ones I've really wanted so far. The elusive ones for me that are proving to be the hardest,
1. Lee Enfield
2. M1917
3. MAS 49/56

I know, no excuse as they are all fairly common but for the life of me I cannot seem to find exceptionally clean ones and I'm not picky about manufacture dates/ arsenals/ war service/ countries served etc. Need to look harder I guess.

Is it weird that I've had an AG42B, Hakim, Rasheed, vz52/57, and Mas36 for years but only got a K98 last month???

What I really need is a Springfeild 1903, Winchester 1897 and Model 12 Trench guns. EVEN REPOS WOULD DO!!!

K31 swiss would be ok too....missed the boat on those. Didn't know I wanted one till they doubled in price.

Not at all, I also have the triple AG42B, Hakim and Rasheed combo. I only just bought a K31, and Swedish M38. I had a Swede Ljungman before the Swede Mauser lol.

Norwegian Krag-Jorgensen M1912 Carbine, and 1904 or 1907 carbine, 1895 or 1897 carbine.

Mexican and Colombian Steyr 1912 rifles and Brazilian mod. 1935 rifle. Should be able to find that last one without too much trouble though. Oh, and still need an Argentine 1909 and Gew. 98.

Doubt it. Swedish Mausers have been on the market since the 1980s, and haven't really had a large price jump in that time. Nice guns, but there is really no reason for a random price increase at the moment.
