I have finally narrowed down my search for a muzzle brake to the Precision Armament - M11 or Precision Armament M41

Both are about the same in price, what would you guys choose?

Top one. Depending on your barrel contour there are lots of self timing brakes. APA and Heathen are two nice brakes.

I've been looking at the Odin brakes, they are 2 piece and don't need to be indexed with washers. Unfortunately, I don't have performance info, plus they seem hard to get up here. Expensive also.

I like neutral brakes, not a fan of top ports unless it's an auto loader.
The M41 works very well from the bench, not sure how fun it would be prone in dirt though.
MDT make a decent brake with self timing nut, I have one and would get another.
Favorite is still the Badger Thruster, but it's a gunsmith job.

The M41 looks... gimmicky. The M11 looks like a more functional brake, if reducing recoil and muzzle rise is your goal.

Down facing ports just make no sense to me. But then I don't usually shoot from a bench, so that might have something to do with it.

Canadian made , work extremely well, self timing and the new hybrid can be changed to suit different caliber! HEATHEN hands down
