Which New trigger for my old 10-22?

I have a nice old canadian centennial 10-22 from 1967. It’s very accurate, but I’d like to improve the trigger. Anyone have any input on the best value for a trigger upgrade?

Depends on what you want to pay and what you want the trigger to do .
I put an inexpensive Box trigger in my gopher gun and it’s a big improvement over the stock 1022 trigger . That’s enough for this gun ...for my needs .
I spent about $100 and it’s a great improvement .

Brimstone is the absolute pinnacle of 10/22 triggers. THE BEST. But pricey and you will be waiting a bit.

On the cheap side of things I recommend the Power Customs kit.

I would not recommend the Ruger BX trigger, while it is an upgrade, its just not worth it when there are better options for less.

The Kidd trigger kit is an awesome value and an awesome trigger. Unfortunately I don’t think anyone is importing them anymore. The BX trigger is about how the factory 10/22 trigger should have been.

On a factory 10/22, I’d probably just get the BX seeing as the accuracy is so awe full theres not much to gain.

If price is a factor go with the Brimstone tier two.

If price is not a factor the Kidd two stage, it doesn't get any better than this.

Brimstone Tier 2...I love it. I would buy it again.
Now I want to try the Tier 1!
Also, the flat trigger face on the Brimstone REALLY helps for a nice pull.

My friend swapped in a BX Trigger...it was a little better than the stock trigger.....but he wishes he would have paid the extra and got a Brimstone.

Probably his older trigger has a lighter pull weight than the bx

My bx trigger came in at 4lbs and my older all steel 10/22 break at 3.5lbs

I do have a few kidd trigger kit and they are very good if you can find any

If it’s a highly used old 10/22 you have probably already worn smooth all the internals.
If you want to go inexpensive try a Volquarson part kits, that’s what I put in my 1984 10/22 and it made it sweet!

From there then your gonna either have to send your trigger pack to dlask or brimstone or pick up a aftermarket trigger pack starting at a BX and then working up to a timney and topping out at a Kidd.

All depends on what you want to get out of that old gun.
