What gun is it going on?

Glock? I'd go with some Trijicon 3 Dots or some Heinie Straight-Eight.
1911? For a combat I'd go with some 3 dot Novaks or for a shooter with I'd go with some tritium adjustable.

I liked the Trijicons I had on both my Glock 19 and P226 FWIW.

I'm amazed that respondents chose three-dot over two-dot - and did so by a factor of three to one. That's a pretty healthy majority.

I voted TFO, double or nothing....
I never really liked fibre optic, even if I know very well they work great, but mated with tritium I get what I like, and then some.

TFO's are on all my Glocks. TFO's Rock. TFO's Rock My Glock.

I've got stock Trijicon 3 dot nite sites on my Dan Wesson bobtail 1911 .45 with the front dot green and the rear dots yellow.

I find this is the best set up for me.

I have tried getting used to a straight 8 but just find that, in low or no light conditions, having the double dots at the back really makes it much easier to guide the front dot down and in between them.

It's a matter of preference and the best thing is to try them all out and pick what works for you.

To determine whether anyone is stocking Novaks in Canada, I'd ask Novak's directly.

They'll know.

If any of you know of any Canadian retailer that has, in stock, Heinie sights for the M&P, please PM me with the business name.

Thank you.
