LMFAO ..."bullet hose"...That is probably the funniest expression I've ever read on this site.
Going to steal that one and keep it as my own.

If it turns out to be greater than 1 MOA, then it's going on the Equipment exchange.

What makes you think the rifle is 1 MOA capable?

Oh I forgot I'm on CGN, any rifle that's $1k+ = 1 MOA standard.

I put my NF Competition on it and took it our briefly today.

Crappy wind in southern Sask with gusts blowing the barrel around, so it wasn't an overly comfortable day to shoot.
But at least I finally got an idea to see how the gun can group.
Only did 3 groups of 10.

Seems the gun is right around 1.503 MOA using PMC ammo.

So now I have to wonder is a gun that capable of 1.5 MOA groups worthy of a $2,100 optic.

That's up to you, but I'd go the other way and spend the extra cash on ammo and shooting accessories for the WK180-C

General purpose rife, varmint & target shooting, yee-haw fun, TEOTWAWKI prepping.
You know, all the standard reasons to justify black rifle ownership.

Then no, you don't need a 1 moa rifle. It seems to shoot reasonably well for what it is. I say glass it and drive on.

That's a bit too much glass for the rifle in my opinion. While I applaud you on being very serious about the optic (many people put a $300.00 optic on a $4,000.00 rifle and think they done good) you should be looking more into the realm of 1-6 or 1-8 LPVOs (Low Powered Variable Optics) in the $800.00-1200.00 range for civvie street work.

So I'd recommend looking at companies like Vortex, Steiner, Athlon, Trijicon & so on in the described price range of $800.00-1,200.00. You'll want to focus on glass that has the magnification range from 1-4X, 1-6X, 1-8X and 1-10X. Just remember, the greater the range of magnification, the tighter the eye box gets as you climb the "X"s.

As an aside, check out the EE here on CGN as well as scoping out (see what I did there) any potential purchases through the site sponsors.

+1 on LPVO at most for this application.

I don't think you're going to get a much more accurate semi shooting 223 these days. For better accuracy reloading would probably bring more improvement than anything else

I'd go 1-8 all the way. NX8 or if you have the budget, ATACR. 1.5 moa is actually more accurate than most semis out there including rack grade ARs. I had a WS-MCR that shot about like yours (sub 1.5 moa with 75gr handloads, easily sub-2 moa with bulk 55s) and I put a Bushnell Elite 1-8 on it. never took it past 470 yards but when my wind call was on, hits on an 8" plate at that distance was no problem even with 55s. I'd call that plenty effective inside 500 yards. Expecting a $1500ish semi to shoot sub-moa is just not being even slightly realistic.
