It's a toss up between my 1947 Izzy M44 and my favourite SVT-40. Both are great with iron sights on 2L pop bottles at 100 yards

There are four rifle I shoot very well thought two are all but peas in a pod
My P-14 and M1917 together account for three CMP Vintage Military Rifle match wins (I am in the U.S.)
My best 200 yard prone score was with my No4 Mk 1/2 Faz
The rifle that most impresses me though is my Gewehr 1888/05 this half blind old fart tends to keep it in the black prone at 200 yards with the iron sights which for a 119 year old rifle says something

I have two 1918 BSAs and best shots were with the .410 shotty. The .303 was too heavy to hold up .

I don't know why, but when I get a good batch of milsurp ammo my 1922 hex receiver Mosin-Nagant will outshoot any of my other milsurps, including a couple of Lee-Enfields, Mausers, a Garand and a K31.

Then again, when it's a bad batch its TERRIBLE! Never tried it with handloads or commercial... Maybe I should!

At what distance did you shoot with the low power B73 copy???


Would like to do a side by side shoot with you any day at RN. I have a genuine '03-04 to complete the test.

Could you comment on the ergonomics of the stgw 57? They never looked that shootable to me.
And my Garand is the most accurate, although the No.4 is pleasant to shoot too.
