Or if there isn’t one, what’s the one you already own that you’ll always be glad you added to your collection?

If this was a lone event I would agree, however we just saw record sales volumes a few weeks ago when the NR transfer rules were announced to be coming into force 2 weeks later. I think a lot of people blew their budget (and then some in many cases) already and funds might be limited in the short term - I can't be the only one in that boat!

As for last handgun, I'm really REALLY tempted to get a 357mag revolver. Never owned a revolver, always wanted one, and if I'm going to be stuck with only 1 then I feel like a 357mag is the One to have.

Problem is I'm very worried they will revoke the ability to USE handguns, and spending like $700 for something I might only get a few months of use out of is not very appealing especially considering it's coming into Summer when I'm busy camping most weekends...

Deagle for sure, same boat though. Too expensive. As for the Beretta 92, they’re great. I’ve never had a single malfunction with my 92FS. If you have the means definitely worth trying to sneak it in before you can’t IMO…..

then do not buy. i do not understand the fear and scare of what they implemented in your head: you want something do not wait for someone to tell you when or what to buy ... there is way worse way to spend $700 than on an handgun.

Last week got myself a S&W Model 19 and a Ruger Wrangler for the missus.

Today went with a Pietta .357 peacemaker and a Glock 19 Gen 4.

So far only the Ruger transfer has gone through, crossing my fingers for the rest, then I'm set.

I was considering buying a new handgun, specifically a Ruger Single Six, before yesterday but even if I did now it's not even clear if the sale will go through. But the real reason I don't own one today is that the price had gone up by about $300 over the past year with the gun just sitting on the shelf. Not playing in that game, me, not for toys.

Added a SAM 1911 and an Uberti 1873. I've been dithering on a 1911 and cowboy gun for a while. Time to just pull the trigger and go for it. Not the exact guns I was looking for, but crazy times demand action. Hopefully the transfer gets through.
