Which one? Tikka T3 or Win 670

Caliber has to be 270. The Tikka is new and $300 more expensive. The Winchester is a nice used one on the EE - functioning in 100% condition with great bore. What to chose?

Price, quality and accuracy are important. It will be a hunter, not a safe queen.

The Tikka is a Tikka. Where as the Winchester is a post 64 economy version of an already economised rifle,

Looks like Tikka is going to take the vote here. Will stick with my original plan of hitting Lebaron's on boxing day hoping for a sale.

I had a T3 in 270wsm, hated it, never even fired it before I traded it

If the seller of the Winchester is honest and can vouch for its accuracy and function, its worth considering if there is a good savings. I have a Tikka, and really like it, but I can appreciate it might not be everyone's cup of tea, and saving $300 is nothing to turn your nose up at. You could put that money towards a good scope.

Ive owned many rifles and none have been as accurate as my Tikka T3's and no clips have broke and none of the stocks have given me problems.
