CZ without question. Mauser action, wood and steel, and I can't stand the positioning of the Savage's bolt.
where would you suggest they place their bolt?

Place each one on your shoulder.
You'll know.
If I had to choose off that list it would be:
1. CZ
2. Browning
3. Savage (not last only because the Tikka was on the list)
4. Tikka (You couldn’t pay me to own another T3)
My actual preference would be a M70 or Ruger 77 with some strong consideration to a Kimber as well.
No love for the wood stocked Vanguard 2? There’s a mag kit for them.
Thanks for your input, availibility of the kimber ia a concern, as it is for the CZ actually.
For the Vanguard, as the word Wetherbi preceed, since I had a MK5 and she got kicked the F..out of my safe with dishonor, I swore that day, never that name will cross my fence line ever....
What makes you think its not done, and actually I have one of each,
Whats the question already ????????????????????????
You don’t make much mention of your purpose or buying criteria. Two have scopes; if price is a key driver and you’re not looking for really long distance shots then maybe the browning or axis are a good buy. But if you’re thinking you’ll be binning the stock optics anyway, then why pay for a rifle that has those?
What sort of distances are you looking to shoot? And what’s your budget?
LOL, why are you asking your only going to agree with the answers that agree with your thoughts anyways.
If they are your only 4 choices, sorry about your luck.
The vanguard is a weatherby by name only. It is actually a Howa.
Easy choice. Apparently the Browning in your pic comes with a Leupold VX3 3.5-10x40. The scope alone is worth more than the Savage.
