Which one would you pick? Stoeger Condor Supreme or Baikal o/u Both 12ga

Already tried both. I rarely hold a gun that doesnt fit me. I have extra long arms. Any length of pull works for me.

How would you know iff'in it's gonna fit?

Granted I was spending almost $10K, but when I bought my Merkel 470 from TradeEx they agreed to take it back if the fit didn't work for me. Worth seeing if they would work the same deal on a shotgun.

Were the cracks in the wood from bad fit/loose bolt to reciever, or just splits from poor quality or poorly dried wood in your opinion?

Bad fit. The first stock had a few small gaps and the second stock was terrible. Whoever installed it was either blind or didn't care.... The third stock looked ok but I had learned my lesson and sold it.

bought my Condor II in 1991, 1st problem that cropped up this year was a broken firing pin plunger that I got from Stoeger in 5days.
Used every bird season, well balanced and reliable, and good at the trap range.
But hey, Baikals are tanks, you can use them as clubs and shotgun without detriment to efficiency of either
