I've pretty much decided on a Sig P226 in 9mm as my second handgun (first being an M&P9).

Now I'm just torn on the model.

Has anyone used both the TACOPS and the stainless Nitron model? Any real differences?

The prices are pretty similar, with the TACOPS being about $100 more at Al Flaherty's.

I ordered a Nitron Stainless. When it'll arrive is unclear but it was a special order so we'll see. I am surprised that it's pretty much similar in price to a regular Sig with night sights.

Where did you order it? Questar is saying 12-24 weeks, and Al Flaherty's wasn't sure how long it would take.

Wondering if I should wait until the RPAL is processed before ordering. Don't want to lose the 25% deposit.

Good choice! I have a 226 ST and it is a pleasure to shoot. It's extremely accurate and the extra weight almost makes it feel like you are shooting a .22 instead of a 9mm. I wish the Nitron version had been around when I bought mine but at least my all stainless version is easy to keep clean.

Questar. I figured I'd be patient and order from them. Never saw it advertised or available from another other shop.
