Which pcc would you recommend?

Thanks for the feedback. The ruger is nice but I'm more so want the maxwell in the grip.
I would choose the cx4 but with the ban that ain't gonna happen unless conservatives win the election and reverse the OIC then I would consider getting one.
Otherwise I think I'm leaning towards the hi-point over the kel-tec. The price is reasonable and I hear they are reliable. Hi-point offers a lifetime warranty where I've heard kel-tec doesn't, unless they changed it. I also hear that the stock sights in the kel-tec are too low to be usable, the s#itty thing with the hi-point is it take proprietary mags and limited to 5 rounds but my rifles are limited to 5 as well and I deal with that fine.

Everything u heard about the Kel-Tec is wrong...

Kel-Tec offers a lifetime warranty to the original owner and the factory irons are certainly not too low to use.

On the Sub 2K?
My ~2012 production sub 2k’s had horribly low sights. Your cheek almost needed to be touching the buffer tube to get a sight picture.

That's how stocks work.

It likely depends on the shape of your face as to how bad the problem is.... but I think he meant to say that the shooter's cheek bone needs to be mashed down on the buffer tube which is not very comfortable. I found when shooting sub2k's that if you cant or rotate the gun so the rear sight shifts in a bit towards the sighting eye you don't need to mash the head down as hard.

After market sights can help a bit and a red dot is even better. Red dot's can be mounted on an offset mount and still allow the gun to fold.

When you fellas state that the Ruger PC 9 is accurate what do you define as accurate ?
Thanks

Ragged holes at 25, fist sized groups at 50 maybe even fist sized out to 100 yards if you take your time from a rest but probably moving closer to open hand sized groups for quicker off hand shooting..... with cheap bulk ammo.

I prefer pinking reactive targets over shooting for groups with a PCC and the Ruger I tried performed nicely in that role.

I'm new to shooting and recently got the Ruger PC carbine for a good deal ( basic version ) $850 before tax at Bass Pro. I would highly recommend it up until the last two weeks at the range when it started to jam ( failure to eject and rounds getting jammed up ) I cleaned it and will be buying some nicer ammo to see if that resolves the issue. I had gotten a few boxes of "older" Remington 9mm off the forum but the nice fellow at the range told me this was the dirtiest ammo he has seen in a while. I thought all ammo was "dirty", go figure =)

Clean the gun after each range session will ensure the gun goes bang instead of click.

Take Care

I am interested in the ASR in 45acp/.460 Rowland, but worried about long term reliability and parts availability. Wish Ruger still made their Model 99/44 or the Model 99/357 would be ideal.

Thought I'd revise this thread I started and inform the pcc I bought.

I ended up going with the kel tec sub2k.
Like I said earlier I wanted something with the magazine inserted in the grip and that led to the only two choices of either tye hi point or kel tec.
Yes the hi point was cheaper but it was only limited to 5 rounds, mags are not as common and not a strong aftermarket support.
Where the kel tec takes glock mags where inhave no problem finding any, 10 rounds of goodness and it folds up nice to fit in a laptop carrying bag.

The negatives of the kel tec I found was the mag release is a little far that you have to break your grip a bit to press it and the button is not the most comfortable thing to press.
Shouldering it and obtaining a comfortable cheek weld at the same time is a bit awkward and as others stated, resting you cheek on the buffer tube isn't all the comfortable either.

But since kel tec has an aftermarket support, these issues I stated are non existent.
All parts are Mcarbo and I replacing the mag release which made mag changes easy and fast, I installed the buffer tube sleeve as wall as a rear stock pad that I positioned to shouldering properly and obtaining a comfortable cheek weld on the buffer tube.

All in all I love the thing, eats ammo like no tomorrow and blast to shoot.

I like my ruger pcc, but I feel like it could be half the weight it is.

It reminds me of the m305. Something about it (the stock?) just makes it heavier than it needs to be.
