Which Pedestal Rest for F Class?

Not a bipod, but front rest. Without spending a thousand bucks, what is a GOOD front rest that will work well with an F Class open-type stock? Thanks.

Use a small caldwell bag and a cheap tire jack.

Caldwell makes some affordable, good quality rest. My thoughts are to buy the best you can afford the first time, not the cheapest. The Rock competition is a very good product.

Thanks for the input. I am a firm believer in buying quality the first time, but am also a believer in the point of diminishing returns. At what price point do you find a rest that does not put the competitor at a disadvantage?

No point in me bothering him if his rest is $750+.

Shouldn't cost anymore than importing a Krieger barrel and getting it chambered and installed. The barrel will be replaced every 1 to 3 years, the rest won't.
