Which pistol for easy frame replacement.

hmm yea, I was thinking there are a bunch of these around and dead simple to copy the frame, that's the Glock 19 gen 3 right?

G17, 19, 22, 23, or 34. All gen 3. I think P80 does some .45 and 10mm size frames too, so lots of options.

On the 1911 side, keep in mind that some 1911 parts require specific fitting to your specific frame, so as mentioned, it's not always directly transferable, especially if you have parts from your current pistol that have already been fitted once... The Glock stuff is all plug and play.

You lose your mind much? We are all fighting the good fight , I donate/join/ and bought $3000 worth of AR to get in the fight,,, but if the day comes that they show up at my dooor for a registered firearm, you are telling me I should start shooting, your an idiot and I doubt very very much if you would either.
They get the serialed frame and that's it.

Use your intelligence, if you have any.
If a ban happens, remove your property to some other location, so if government agents come calling there is nothing to steal.
Where did I suggest a shootout with government enforcement agents? Sharpen your reading comprehension and try again.

Yea, ok buddy, you are 100% correct, when they come for my registered firearm I will have hidden it somewhere else and tell them it is a game of hide and seek! I have no wish to spend time in jail because I Cannot find a firearm that is supposed to be in my possession but let us know how that works for you. Please do not suggest illegal activities on my thread but you are quite welcome to start your own and suggest what ever you like.

If there was a handgun ban like the AR. They will ban every other part like they did.

Majority of members here and myself Included would only turn in a stripped lower but they have banned the uppers also.

Am sure they won't go after all the parts but barrels, slides etc will be banned.

Just have to keep fighting and supporting the ccfr and others who are challenging the AR ban. Once they get them. Pistols are next.

Agreed!

Yes, plentiful and easy to reproduce( usually equals inexpensive) is where I was going with this, hopefully many small and large gun shops with a 3D printer can pump out replacements! As for them taking the rest of the pistol, they were stripped and parts sold off not long ago just the serialized frame left!
Let's all hope our Conservative party can come together and win a majority government so none of this will be necessary! I am donating so far to ccfr and bought an AR -10 and two AR-15 to get numbers up. I am looking at getting another handgun also if the right one shows its face although zi have quite a few! No matter our differences within the firearms community, we have to show up as a solid group when fighting these injustices!

Go with a gen 3 Glock. If a ban happens the frame is the firearm, and Glock compatible frames (Poly80, etc) are cheap and plentiful if a ban was to be reversed. Not sure what the price or availability is for an APX or 320 trigger group, or even if you CAN buy them individually, but I'd bet it'd be harder and more expensive than finding a gen 3 Glock style frame.
Do they still sell Gen 3 Glocks or do they stop manufacturing that model when they produce the next one like gen 4 or gen 5! Thanks.

I'd question the integrity of their database?
- I'm pretty sure all restricted firearms had been sold before the ban...

Then we could go to court, and force the government to report how many time the database has been hacked. How many times it crashed. How much data was lost.
I'd also want a detail report of who had access to my personal information. On how many reports it appeared. Where are those reports. Who had access to said reports.

wasting your time, in the event of a ban, you most likely be banned from owning any pistol related part that affects the receiver. Grip modules for modular guns are inexpensive, so do not base your current purchase based on a law that does not exists.
Enjoy what you want now....
