Which Pistol??

Hey Folks! Currently have a PPQ that I am not fond of and thinking about selling and possibly replacing with a RMR equipped pistol. What does everyone recommend for a pistol that will get a RMR installed on? Preferably a 9mm and not a glock. (tried them and they are not for me)

What about the PPQ do you not like? The Q5 Match has a significantly better trigger IMO if that was a complaint. Far better than the aftermarket trigger'd Glock I tried. Sig P226 has an optics ready model. The FNX Tactical is a nice shooter but it is 45acp. I have heard that the HK sfp9/40 (vp-series) will be coming out with an optics ready version (you can see it on the German Website).

I cant seem to place why I'm not a fan of it honestly. Great trigger, accurate, and feels great but something doesn't keep me picking it up, stays in the safe most range trips. The spf9 OR looks enticing, the FNX tactical will be down the road.... Gotta keep the lady happy with a 9mm that she can shoot first. So far the list is a sfp9 OR, a milled M&P or P07 milled. Many Thanks folks.

I really like my CZ75. It fits my hands perfectly, its 9mm, functions flawlessly and its metal like a pistol should be. It is also in the mid price range. It is 800 with a case and 3 mags.

Interesting comment. I've never seen these as a problem...aggressive maybe, but far from a problem

The slide profile seems to be the most common complaint. I never had an issue with it until today, didn’t have proper purchase during an unloaded start stage. Love my S2 though.

OP if I were in the market for an optic ready poly, it would probably be the Sig 320

Make no mistake, just my opinion. It's still an extremely nice gun. I've been trying to convince myself to buy one since they've come out, but everytime I handle one I'm turned off. I am strongly considering adding a Shadow 1 to the safe though.

M&P CORE...especially the 4.25” barrel version. If you’re not absolutely set on a 9mm, think about the FNX Tactical.

I think most of the folks posting here overlooked that you wanted an RMR-capable pistol.
