Which powder are you using for 45 ACP?

DRG cast lead bullets. 200SWC and 225FP Both work very well in a variety of pistols with 4.3gr of Titegroup. By "well" I mean accurate.

That's an interesting recipe! I use 4.3 grns of TG behind DRG lead in my 9mm. There'd be lots of room in that 45 case!

230 Gr Campro .451 FCP TC
Mixed brass
Winchester Large Pistol Primer
1.238" COL
.469" taper crimp
5.4 Gr Winchester 231 is where I settled with (loaded as high as 5.7 gr but it gets snarky even with a 24 lb return spring in a 1911 govt length.)

I used Rex II for a long time, you can get it anymore (that I've seen).
W231 but that's running low,
Tight group will be next.
Availability is now my determining factor...
I'll write a list of powders I want (10+) and am usually happy if I can get 1...

230gr campro plated with AA#5. Only downside is you have to use lots (don't quote me on this but I'm thinking 7.5 gr ish) if w231 ever shows up again I'd love to switch to that and make a pound last longer
