No deer there to bait in PEI.
i don't think PEI has a deer hunting season at all.

PEI had all its woodland caribou shot off years ago. Not sure that there was ever deer there, although I did see a set of antlers in a historical village once that allegedly was off a buck shot on PEI. I suspect the guide made it up though.
The last bear on PEI was shot in 1937, according to "the internet." It's too bad. Bear hunting on PEI would be a blast. I grew up there, and there's pretty much nothing to shoot besides waterfowl (or coyotes, if you're bored in the winter). Some places are open for partridge, too.
