Which red dot do you use on slug shotgun? TRS-25 failed twice on me today

Generally, I was very happy with TRS-25 until I tried it on MH-S slug shotgun. Slugs 1-1 1/8, 2 3/4
bolt broke on two TRS-25. Here is the video of the damage:

try to glue and duct tape to fix it. lol

so the mount did not handle the recoil but the optic is still working?

handy like you re im pretty sure you will a solution.

Thanks brother. Taking it out to shoot some slugs at turning targets next month. Must check the zero actually.

I bought a FF2 off the EE that unfortunately had the battery compartment threads stripped. I whined about the $50 UPS shipping to Colorado but within a few weeks I received a new FF in the mail. It sits on my 20 gauge H&R rifled single shot which is very light and kicks like a mule. At $5 a shot I can't say I shoot it much but I've never had a problem with the sight. Since then I've bought 2 more FF3. Small red dots are like Franks Red Hot.

The fact Burris builds shotgun mounts for the FF speaks volumes for it's ability to handle shotgun recoil.

However, I recently read a review that slammed the FF in favor of vortex (https://tacticsfaq.com/burris-fastf...models come with two,favor of the smaller dot.). I'm tempted to try the competition.

I have 2 Vortex Crossfire RDS on a couple of shotguns, one on an 870 with an Aridus CROWS mount and the other on an 870 pic rail. I have a couple cases of birdshot through each of them and at least a couple hundred rounds of buckshot and slugs - they've both held up fine...
