So im heading cabellas monday and curious if I should pick up a bushnell trs-25 or a Burris fastfire ll... Its gonna be put on my cz 858 and want it for a multipurpose sight...Thanks..

I have TRS25 on my sks, really like it. Hitting clays at 100 yards with it(dot kinda cover the clay :p )

But I would like better to have hollow sight on it, or a larger tube red dot.

Yes i aswell have to go with the sparc. Best deal for the money. Have it on my cz too and it works great.

And, the Sparc has night vision compatibility for those night shoots. Very cool little scope. I don't know if the others have the NV, but it's the first cheapy scope I have seen with it.

ok ok i will also consider the sparc...when im there i will compare the 3...thanks for all the sugg's.

on a lighter note:
I was thinking about getting a pet like a dog or something but its hard enough to keep my cz fed. It just eats and eats and eats.....

Nothing beats a reflex sight for speed and quick acquistion of moving target's. Although if you want a cheap long lasting red dot the bushnell trs-25 is the way to go. But I would still prefer the reflex Burris Fast Fire over it any day.

Doesn't that Lucid sit a little high for a good cheek weld? My vote is for the TRS and I have two of them and two SPARC's.

You know, I thought that the Lucid would be to high as well. However, when I compare it to my M77 with a Leup 2x9 Vari, we are only looking at a half inch difference in height.
The big difference is how the butt comes off receiver on that angle. It's more of a jaw weld at that point. This combo would work the best if used with the AR Stock adapter no doubt.

I was thinking I would pick up a Spac for another build, every body seems to love them. For the price point, it's a no brainier really.

The Sparc in my mind is a prettier copy of the Aimpoint Micro and does all the same stuff for a third of the price. Bigger MOA, but red dots weren't made for accurate long distance shooting. Not to say that some people aren't able to. The only thing it doesn't have on the Aimpoint is the battery life. But the battery life pars the Eotech. My only pet pieve with the Votex Red Dots is the fact they turn on in your gun case because of where the on/off switch is. Problem gets solved when you buy a battery from The Source and they warranty it for 3 years. Lol. Or if you get the Strikefire you go to Ebay and pick up a 4 battery and charger set for $12 shipped.

However, if you buy an Aimpoint Micro for $600+ then I guess you don't have to turn off your dot for the next 3-5 years.

Operator manual states over 5 years of continuous use (day & night) on position 8 of 12, over 10 months at position 10 of 12. Typically 500,000 hours at NVD setting.

I recommend the Aimpoint Micro T1/H1 2 MOA if your toy fund or spouse permits :)

I have the TRS25, Vortex Sparc, Bushnell Trophy Red/Green

My preference between these 3 is by far, the Vortex Sparc.

None can hold a candle to my Eotech but if price is a factor, the Sparc is good value. The TRS25 is on my Ruger MarkIII and is great because of it's size.
