I'm happy with my SPS varmint. Very accurate. As mentioned keep in mind the remington 1-12 twist rate. Good for light varmint bullets but bad for the heavy long range match bullets.

Two great choices. Handle them, see what feels and looks best to you. The Remington should hold much greater opportunity to customize if that's an interest, but the Tikka is no slouch and might be all you want right out of the box.

The ONLY Remington varmint rifle I will consider is the " best BANG "for you bucks... the...XR-100.

Start with the Remington. You can keep adding aftermarket parts until it's almost as good as a Tikka anyway.
