If you had a choice of only ONE (1), which of the three (3) Rimfire SA Rifles would you choose to keep, and why?

1) S&W MP 15-22

2) RUGER SR22

3) UMAREX HK-416D

Cheers,

Id be keeping the SR22, good for plinking anywhere and still fulfills the tactical desires.

Agree with the SR-22. NR=more fun, more often. Never handled the others to be honest, but I have the SR-22. Either way, NR for the win.

I can narrow it down to two...For pure nostalgia's sake and appreciation of what long dead artisans created with loving pride I will keep my old Husqvarna rolling block chambered in 22 short. My CZ bolt action stays for accuracy and reliability ...the rest I just 'want'

having just picked up a SR22 2 months ago i realllllllllllllly like it.
solid gun.

the simple fact that its NR out of the list you supplied makes it the hands down winner for me.

I never find one shot/one kill to be boring, but then I never understood the spray and pray approach that some people employ.:p

^this.. :)

I don't own an SR-22 or a lever...and only spent about $100 on the only semi I own. I've had a lever, trying a pump for the second time (Henry last time, Taurus this time) but the bolt guns keep delivering. For some reason, new ones keep showing up too. lol Just sold what I thought was my last Cooey, but tonight..I'm looking at a 600 a buddy of mine bought new in 1969 and is looking to sell. If bolt guns weren't fun, I wouldn't have them. Plain and simple.

I'm no Ruger fan (and I've had a new 10/22~that's why) but it's hard not to like the SR-22s when you hold them. I've tried. For me, the "want" level doesn't jive with the asking price, so I've never felt too tempted. CZ 452s on the other hand..

I love my accurate bolt guns that are one shot one kill. I want to try a semi, so I'm getting a dlask! lol
