For me it would be the Lee Enfield. trouble free and accurate with no jamming or problems. And tons of ammo.
Mosin a good reliable rifle but short on ammo
Garand sweet semiauto but gets gummed up
mauser k98 germans are bad
arisaka Japanese they were bad but their women are hot
Is this considered to be a knowledgeable opinion?
The Lee Enfield is a very good weapon for infantry in WW2, however, it is a bolt action and thus loads a fires at the rate of a bolt action. It has a short stroke and a large magazine. Handle dirt well.
Mosin is worst on the list. Poor action with a long stroke, poor sights that cannot make use of the round.
M1 Garand, only gets gummed up by poor soldiers, it puts out an incredible rate of fire and wins almost every fire fight versus German or North Korean bolt actions. Magazine capacity is almost as good as the LE and better than the remainder on the list. In any case the comparsion is apples and oranges.
Mauser is the sweetest bolt action and beautiful deer rifle. How it ever lasted as long as it did as a army rifle, only the Germans know.
Arisaka is a made in Japan mauser, the bad quality does not appear til about 1943. In any case that said of the mauser is true for the Japanese version.
On the list, the LE is the best of the old way and the Garand is the future.
