what do you guys think would be the ideal 3 or 4 piece mosin nagant collection? if you must include a very rare one, please add it to your list as a bonus.

i think it would be something like:

finn M39
polish M44 (or romanian or hungarian)
soviet 91/30

1895 Czar with no communist markings!
A WWII with communist markings!
A post war Polish in mint shape!
I have all three in n.i.b. shape. I will take pictures next week!

Henry;)

I would want a pre 1917 Russian or American 1891, Hungarian 91/30 Sniper, Polish M44, Russian M38 and Finnish M39

M91-A Finn captured westinghouse, covers A)American mosins, and B)Finn Mosins.
M91/30-PU sniper or ex-sniper, to satisfy the Russian and sniper requirement
M44-Hungarian, Polish or East German maybe? Fill the USSR satellite with this one.
and a wildcard. M27, M28, M38, M39?

We demand pictures!

The m38 is a mosin you have to own at least once.

Feels completely different than the m44... much cleaner, lighter, more shootable.

Too bad I don't keep safe queens...

In order of preference (not including VERY rare variants):

1) M28/30
2) M39, Sako SKY, non-refurb
3) M1891, Chatellerault, non-refurb or Finn capture
4) Pre-1936 non-refurb M1891 Dragoon

Some fun pics...
