I was hoping that some CGN'rs would help me remember which revolver I am thinking of.

I am pretty sure it was a ruger. Looks like a single action (cowboy style) has interchangeable cylinders so you can swap from 38/357 to 9mm if I'm not mistaken.

I cant for the life of me remember the name...

On that same note. are they any good these convertible revolvers?

Cheap 9mm would be good fun.
 
U mean the Ruger Blackhawk convertible...Great guns and work well. I have had both the 357/9mm and the 45Colt/45ACP. Do everything they are supposed to.
