I guess you're both wrong then. They are available in Canada *right now*.

Italian sporting goods in Vancouver also had them on the wall a week or so ago. Not sure about today.

Big Time! Boths got Own...

I had one as well, and would pass. Heavy, long barreled, non-free floating 10 twist. Just not what I'd want.

One of the best triggers I have ever used on a semi, however.
did you ever try 77gr bullets? I noticed a huge difference in accuracy over the 69gr and even the swiss 63gr ruag stuff.

Here are the PHOTO!

this is One of the photo from Spruce scrove gun Club, distance is 100meter, not the best group, the best group was on another targer that we are not able to take with us, as we are leaving, there were other that are shooting at the moment....

DPMS for me. Price was right.

Remington R25 is same as the DPMS but I don't like Camo. Got the Full SASS package with the Magpul stock.

I wouldn't use anything that has a piston. The one thing that the AR has going for it over other rifles in terms of accuracy is the DI gas system. Why put a piston in a precision semi? If you prefer reliability over accuracy then get a piston gun but I've easily fired well over a thousand rounds out of my C7 on several occasions without any stoppages. You'd never shoot that much out of a precision rig without cleaning it so the piston becomes a liability in terms of accuracy potential.

I'd probably just build an AR in 6.5 Grendel. Just need a new bolt, barrel and mag. Hell, I could just slap it on one of the lowers I already own to lessen the cost.

If I were to limit myself to a .308 semi then it would probably be the Larue. Looks pretty slick, 20 MOA rail but good luck getting one, don't think he's interested in selling to Canada.

ETA: It takes a lot of work and money and someone who knows what they're doing to make an M1A/M305 to shoot well. All you need for an AR platform is a decent barrel and free float tube, anyone can do it.

yeah, 77 SMK and some factory amax. It clearly had issues with longer bullets, which I'd expect from a 1:10. The best I could get out of it was using 69SMK, and then it was still fussy about POI shifts. Best results were when I put the bag under the 5 rnd mag.

You had a huge improvement in long bullets with a 1:10 twist?

Yes, mine grouped considerably better with the 77gr SMK.
