OK bare with me, so since this is my first long range rifle what is the benefit of having matching ret and turrets? I like the idea of having no covers on the adjustment knobs.... my hmr has a cheap scope on it and when Im out shooting gofers it sucks to have to take the covers off.... but then again I dont adjust it much after I had it sighted in at 100. Also when the scope is at max zoom the clarity its pretty bad so thats why Im asking you guys all these questions. I will be using this for target shooting mostly, maybe some gopher/praire dog shooting (a lil over kill i know), and maybe but I doubt it... hunting. I dont want to compete in anything I just want to shoot stuff from great distances.

If this is your first target rifle Rem 700p with no scope how come your sig says you have one with a nightforece scope on it?

i just tuned my OEM trigger to as low as it would go. It does the job while i look for something else

Leica? Isn't that a camera manufacturer? No I shoot with a canon 40D.
