Which scope for a 93R17 BTVS???

Hi, just wondering if anyone could help me out. Im fairly new to optics, and I'm looking for a good scope. Right now I have a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x40 on her. I bought it a couple months ago, and havent been "blown away" by it. I know its a great scope, dont get me wrong, but past 150 yards I find the FOV to be too large for my needs. I would be looking for something in the same price range, ( or within a couple hunderd $ ) but with more magnification? and a tighter FOV? I am quite happy with the 40mm objective, so I dont think im shopping for a 50... Do I have any options?

I have a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x40SF on mine (93R17 GL). Optics is bright and clear, the Nikoplex reticle is fine enough, and I like the side focus feature for the parallax adjustment. The price was also quite good.
