Which Scope For My .270 Win??

I have the exact Leupold you are talking about on my '06. It replaced a B&L Elite 3000 3-9x40, which was a nice scope, but I have to say I like the Leupold better. Especially in low light.

I Have the Leupold VX-2 3-9x40 Duplex on my .270 xbolt. while the glass is great, there is a bit of a fuzzy ring around the outside but my only real complaint is the power ring is very hard to adjust. Theres no way i can turn it with two fingers while keeping a eye on the deer. Even in warmer temps its stiff.

I had a Leupold scope that had the exact same issue and I sent it in to Korth for warranty repair and they fixed it up and returned it to me in no time. It will just cost you the shipping one way.

dont want to hijack this thread, but do you know what was wrong with it? I looked into it at one time and they told me that was normal.

Not sure of what was "technically" wrong with it but the magnification knob was just way too stiff. I have more than a few Leupold scopes and the mag adjustments tend to be on the firm side but this one was crazy stiff and it came that way from the factory. Compare yours to some other Leupolds if you can.
