Just bought a new Ruger 10/22, and I am sick of the scope that I have. Would someone recommend a scope (<100$)? The rifle is mainly for target shooting and small game hunting.

Thanks.

X2 for the Tasco suggestion. My Norc JW-25a with said scope accounted for LOTS of gophers last year!! I also like the red-dot idea. I've got a cheapo one on my sons Cooey and it works excellently, m.o.gopher out to 50m no problem.
Cheers!!:)
PS-As an improvement to what you've got, some satin black would give you the tacti-cool look on your present paper towel roll!!

I like the scope you have on it right now.... :D nothing like a good leftover roll end of TP or paper towel. makes for a great scope in a pinch :p

I've actually removed the scope from my 10/22 and am now looking for a set of those filler screws to put back in it. Would you be willing to send or sell your 4 filler screws when you install your scope?

get a nikon 2x7x32 shotgun scope beats the tasco by a few miles

I might be able to dig up my filler screws. They were the only part of my 10/22 that was any good.

That would be much appreciated. Just send me a PM and I'll send you a bit of $.

I think I know what you mean. My 10/22 stovepipe jams like crazy with all but a couple of types of catridges. It's SUPER picky and not what I'd call reliable. I think the new ones are s**t.

Oh...and I get better accuracy out of a daisy pellet gun.

try painting that tube black to give it a tacticool look. maybe attach a kit kat bar with an elastic band under the barrel to mount a wax candle on.
