which scope mount?

Hello all I'm going to be mounting a scope on my norinco sks and was wondering what type of mount you use and why?Thank you for any info.......J

I know this subject really gets everyone all fired up. I for one went for the unit that does not alter the rifle in any way, no holes or pins to cut. That unit is the receiver cover replacement mount. Buy it new then file it down to fit tight. Real tight. I've had mine for three years and it still works fine after 3-4 crates through it

im going to try a scout style mount.. look up surplus rifles on google

True enough, the scout set-up basically installs to the rear sight block and is the only solid place for a mount(not including side mounting). The scope has to be set quite aways foreward for stripper clips and ejection. Fine for a red dot, but huge eye relief is needed for a magnified optic.
