Hi guys,

I'm new to shooting, but have an ATRS Modern Sporter coming my way this summer (pretty excited).

I'm going to be purchasing a Primary Arms 3-18x50 scope for the build. I'm wondering what suggestions you have towards what scope rings I should go with? I'd like a one piece option (where both rings are built onto a single part). I see primary arms makes two options, but wonder if I should be spending a little more to get something of higher quality? I couldn't imagine spending more than $200?

Any insight is appreciated.

I just bought MDT Precision rings from Hirsch Precision, listed at the top of the page, for $204. Built in level, 6 screws per ring. Dems are bad babies. They're hard to find. Most places are out of stock.
Googling pics show that rifle w/ reg rings too.

Thanks for all the replies.

Question - as an example, the ADM mounts are offered in various MOA options.. Normal, 20 MOA and 30 MOA. I'm shooting bench rest between 100-300 meters. What should I be buying? Just the normal? Or a mount with increased MOA built in?

Your scope seems like it could handle 20 moa, that's what I have on my guns. There are good YouTube videos explaining the differences. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
Search 0 moa or 20 moa rail on YouTube

To use a 20 moa rail your elevation adjustment would have to be 60 or greater. That gives you 30 up and 30 down. Minus the 20 which leaves 10 and that 10 shouldn't be used as it can be unreliable.
If you have the scope I looked up, in mils it's 27.6 mils of adj. Converted it's like 95 moa. You're good to go.
