Which scope should I choose out of these 4?

Bushnell 4200 4x16x40
Sightron SII big sky 4x16x42
Nikon monarh 4x16x42
Zeiss conquest 4.5x14x44
I think I have all the the scopes I want to pick from with 1 inch tubes. I will put it on a win mod70 custom featherweight 280 Ackley.

I would go with a Zeiss, but prefer a 3.5-10...

Zeiss,Bushnell,Nikon and Sightron the Burris 4x14x42 has real good glass

Out of the four I would put the Zeiss on there, that's what my hunting buddy put on his after a cursed adventure with a scope this hunting season and it's what I am putting on mine for next season.

Zeiss.

In regards to the weight, personally I'll always pick scope performance over size/weight. Last couple of scopes I bought had 50mm objectives for example.

+1. Counter productive. Consider putting a good 3-9x33 on there or you'll end up like that poor, dumb newb that was teased so mercilessly for his tacti-fool Remington jerk-o-matic.

Zeiss definitely has the best optics of the ones listed forsure, but the others are all pretty good too. I would say whatever you like best and price wise too etc. But zeiss are the superior optics of those choices!!

You need a Leupold VXIII in 2.5x8 or a VXII in 2x7. Nuff said, and BTW .... I'm always right!
