The Leupold site says the scope has 70 or 75moa elevation depending on which one you look at. If you half that, assuming zero is at mid point that only gives me 35-37moa up from zero. When I was out shooting 175grns at 800yrds the other day I had to hold over a good 12 feet to hit the target. Currently I am using a VXIII 6.5-20 x 40 with 1" tube. It is good to 600 yrds and then tops out. Maynard, the Burris rings may be an option but we did have a guy who was having trouble with them sliding on him so I am concerned they may cause me more grief in the long run. Certainly are a less expensive option though.
