Which seating die?

I have 2 LEE seating dies for my 7mm-08.
They are marked:
7mm-08-J1
7mm-08-L0

What is the difference?

The year they were manufactured.

If they appear the same I would pull them apart an see if there's any noticeable difference. One might be rough or out of round. Or one have a seating stem that fits your bullets better than the other. Can't hurt to look into it.

Possibly made for different ogive profiles? Just a guess though...

Post #2 may be correct...I for one could not say, as I am unfamiliar with Lee dies.
If in doubt, contact Lee directly and ask them. Should be able to find their number on-line.

I have 2 sets of Lee seater dies for my 7mm/08. One was purchaser in the mid 80's and the other last year. Neither have these markings, but both dies differ in that older Lee seating dies had a crimping feature on their regular seating die, and the more recent ones do not. The more recent ones are called Lee dead length seater die. Different press adjustments are required for each one. Hope this helps.
