Which semi-auto non-restricted AR-10 style rifle to chose?

Mk7 comes with some nice bling on it. But so does the matrix and they boast .5 moa in 308 and .25 moa in 6.5creed.
I think all of them had an issue of one kind or another. You are the one buying it. I'd probably figure out how much I wanted to spend and then compare your choices

Go to Tactical Imports and pick up their G36 non-restricted.

A steal at under 6G. Better be fast though as not many in stock. Nice gun but a little steep for me.

Odd to recommend a grossly overpriced parts rifle in 223 given what the OP has said so far.

Thanks, just curious what you liked about them.
I had two XCR-L keymod HB and they ran good.
Only issue I had and it was my fault was I snapped the head off the barrel retention bolt.
But I still prefer the MS and Stag. But if not for those the XCR would be my next choice.

I like the piston system paired with adjustable gas plug. The bolt lock/release is part of the design instead of an add-on that may or may not work 100% of the time like some other add ons. Trigger out of the box is very decent. In the accuracy market, it was in the battle rifle realm with some lucky MOA groups but hanging around in the 1.5/3moa department, which is ok for me.

The side charging handle doesn't feel as robust as the rest of the rifle, that little plastic knob didn't do it for me. Some screws had to be checked once in a while but it was usually a one shot deal.

The Stag10 would be my choice for an "ar type" 308win rifle, but there is something with the XCR I like.

How did you snap the barrel retention bolt ? Overtorquing or faulty part ?

The best NR SA 308 out there is the FNAR Competition.

One was not enough, i bought another brand new one at a heavily discounted price.
Paying less now than we did 5 years ago.

As OP asked AR10,
Stag is the most proven so far.
Everything thing else is a gamble.. lol

I know the $1500 options look appealing but there’s some of them options, now selling on the EE for $1000, and not moving.

I have owned the stag10 and the bcl 102 and from experience on the two, stag all the way, i have built 5 now and own the last in a 6.5 creedmoor and everything fits together like its supposed never had an issue with a single build and the price is great, the atrs is a unicorn for builders right now and holy cow expensive for complete builds so stag over and over for me and i have built two mdi ar15's and they were also great still have one in 223 wylde that looks kinda retro c7 clone ish and love it but also unicorn for builders as of today but will buy another of both when the time comes with out question

ATRS or STAG by far imo. With either platform you can have your pick of barrels, triggers, and BCGs and make them either as cheap or as accurate as you want. As heavy or light as you want and as reliable or as tuned for competition as you want.
