Which shotgun could I use as a canoe paddle?

Nothing kicks less than a semi auto... and if you pick a good one they are super reliable. I would pick one that uses Invector Plus choke tubes...

In reality any modern well made synthetic stocked shotgun can handle wet muddy conditions.
Difference in how long they last and reliably is the after use care. Cleaning and oiling goes a long way.

I’m surprised that no one mentioned any of the marine versions of these shotguns. A little nickel plating would go a long way to protecting your paddle when you wanted it to go boom again.

Did someone on this forum not do exactly that as a gift for a friend ?

Single shot break action he camo wrapped it threw a paddle on as the stock and the handle could thread into the barrel.
