Don't get a 12.5" for clay shooting. most ranges won't even allow it.

Please share with us the names of ranges/clubs that wont allow 12.5" barrel shotguns for clay shooting. Personally I've never heard of any at this end of the country.

Yes, some uptight types at some clubs won't like the sight of a short barrel - but 20 years ago they looked on in horror when we shot with 20" guns. They got over it.

I think for general use and woods wandering, a single shot 20 bore is ample medicine for your needs.
Plus it is plenty light, and very easy for even novices to use/prove safe.

And although I have plenty of 12 bores, for upland game I often grab, one of my two Ithaca 20 gauges.
For the lightweight factor....

Unless of course you plan on dancing on a grizzlie's head, or hanging out with feral dog packs.....then the bigger, repeating choice, would be mine too.

here she is....

Well, here's my toy :D actually it's so small it's almost toy like! but I like it...single shot -very simple, pistol grip is a plus, also nickel finish and plastic stock for me is better then blue finish and wood stock...

I had ammo for it before the gun came in the mail... but Ihaven't shot it yet.

One this I noticed; on the website it says the gun has a full choke, but on the chamber (and the box) is says 'MOD' (modified). I wonder if the website is wrong or maybe new once have Mod choke...anyone know?
