Which shotgun to buy??

My buddy is looking to buy a PUMP shotgun which one should he get? Stoeger P-350, Maverick 88, Mossberg 535 , Mossberg 835, Remington 870.

I prefer the tang safety, overbored & ported barrels on the 835. Mind you, you can't go wrong with the 870.

If your buddy is a lefty, go for the Mossberg.

If you only wnat one you should check out the Benelli Super Nove. A bit more but pretty well indistructable and a 5 year warranty

im your spokesman for the p350,I love this gun fires nice. I guess everyone has a brand preference so you will get that opinion.

I love the mossbergs too,the p350 felt better to me,best bet is to have him to see what gun feels best to him

your nuts if you get anything but an 870...they are proven...and used by more law enforcement than any other.....

Don't listen to these guys! These are all good guns -- your "buddy" should buy the one that fits him within his budget. If you buy a shotgun that does not fit the shooter, he won't be able to hit s**t with it.

Many 3.5 inch 870's have not had the chamber properly finished and the shells will stick. You might get a good one, you might not. It's not hard to fix though.

Remington 870 with the 3" chamber you will not be dissapointed they are a great gun.

Get an 870 Wingmaster. They are much more nicely finished and are less likely to have problems than an Express.

If cost is an issue, get a used Wingmaster.
