Which SKS is the "Mama Mia Thatsa Juicey Meatball" SKS that you got to have?

Russian? Chinese? The ones steaming across the Pacific on the Norinco Boat?

Which Year? Factory?

Firbed or Refurbed?

New and Unused?

You decide which one is "The Juicey and Spicey Meatball". :D
 
Mother Russia 1949 square gas block with spike bayonet, pinned on the follower all matching number's & of course non-refurb.
 
I hunted for a Yugo 59/66, any year, all matching, non issued, not fired, mag not butchered. Took me about 6 months, but I found it this past Jan. and now own it. I nick named it the devils SKS. The first 3 numbers of the serial number are "666" .
Probably one of the nicest ones out there.
 
I have some very nice ones that I need to hug and feel daily, but I seem to enjoy and shoot quite a bit more the ones that are not so pretty and get out on the trails with me.

I can attest to that, it sure it a beautiful SKS! accurate as all hell too :D

I sure wouldnt mind finding a 1945 dated trials rifle...
 
That would be like finding a 300 carat diamond on the beach. Impossible to find and then the other problem to export. Rifles like that consider to be national treasure.

Russian 1949 Tula, North Korean, and West German are the ones I'd like...
Yugos are pretty nice too, as well as Albanians.
When or if I have all those... I'll be done buying SKSs.

actually i take that back, I'll probably be buying more anyway.

Weren't they the fiberglass Chinesse SKS's? I thought that China made them as there manufacturing facilities were non-extinace do to the bombing from the Americans.

There's quite a bit of discussion on wether or not North Vietnam actually made their own SKS. The dates on them end when the heavy bombing began. So they could have made their own.
