Which target style?

I use my hunting rifle for target shooting in the off season, like many others. I've been shooting a homemade target for a few years and it's ok but I'd like to know what targets would be used in a competetion. I shoot a 308 at 100, 200 and 300 yards. Maybe further in the future, but the locall range is 300 yards.
