Which tokarev?

So I got that itch to buy a tokarev. I am thinking of a Romanian one but the Chinese ones are $70 cheaper. Is there any tangible benefit to no getting a Romanian over the Chinese?

I am not interested in the Yugo and Russians cost too much for what they are

Already considered that. Both come with one mag so I will be buying an extra for $35ish

Magazine availability mostly. I also had one in the past and was not happy with it. I found 1940s Russian to be way better

Typically, a tokorv is a tokorv, shouldn't matter who makes it.
If I could justify it, I'd get a polish one , myself, just because it's polish.
But of the 2 you've stated, I'd get the chi com type 54 , and spend the difference on ammo .
What ever you do , make sure you don't get one with the Bastardized add on frame mounted safety, like the Americans have to contend with

I have a Norinco M213, which is a 9mm Tokarev copy. It also has the clunky safety on the side, I’m not a fan….
