Which trigger for my AR?

Thanks for posting that video dietz, super handy! I enjoy shooting my ar's but don't shoot competitively and this helped choosing a trigger if/when I upgrade.

Got my S3G yesterday, instruction video from Geisselle on you tube was really good, made it simple to install in m NEA. Swapped in an Ambi safety at the same time. took all of 1/2 hour to do both and test, function check, re-lube and drink a cup of coffee. Vice block helped a lot too. Sunday will be the live fire test - see how it works for real.

Congrats on putting in that evil thing :D Since I messed with springs a lot, I can probably do this job one-handed, with a blindfold on by now lol Don't need to take out the safety on an NEA lower, but it helps if you're already swapping it out. The trigger feels a lot better shooting than dry-firing. Say goodbye to your ammo budget lol

I have the AR Gold trigger in my AR, absolutely love it.

Have you ever tried the S3G? How do they compare? Yes, I'm a trigger-whore

I haven't tried the S3G, the trigger feels very similar to a really really nice 1911 trigger. It has just a little bit of take up then breaks at about 3lbs. I like that it's a self contained trigger that is adjustable. I'm kind of a trigger whore as well, but wanted to be different so I got the AR Gold instead of a Geissele.

My first GEISSELE was S3G. it was fast, even had a bump fire with it, unintentionally lol, I switched to SSA-E and find it easier to take targets ( head shots size) at 200 yrds maybe because its a 2 stage, the first stage is 2.2lbs and the 2nd stage was around 1.5lbs., but still fast for close close up targets, I dont even notice that its a 2 stage. Alomost feels like a tune 1911 triggers.

I've been really happy with my single stage Wilson Combat trigger, light crisp and fast. Plus its a drop in unit thats been quite reliable from +30 C to -40 C in rain snow and mud.
