Which two are keepers?

Ruger SP101 & Tarus 96 22lr. Would be the two to keep. The CX-22 is a very low quality item if I remember correctly (I think that's what mine was:()
 
Which ones

Taurus and S&W 66?

Kind of like choosing between knockers (on a door) and pussies (siamese vs. tabby)????? They're all nice to play with, and serve a different purpose.

OK, the way I see it one had to be a .22 LR: you can spend a day at the range and you'd be hard pressed to use up $30 worth of ammo and, let's face it, .22's

are just a hoot to shoot. Am I right? For a while I was actually considering getting a Ruger 22/45, or a Browning Buckmark, but then I thought "I've already

got what many consider to be one of the best .22 handguns ever made, so why not enjoy it rather then taking it out to oil and polish every so often." I'm

sure you folks know which one I'm talking about.... That's right, the S&W Model 18-3 is the first Keeper. Once I decided one was going to be a .22,

which one was the easy part: I'll keep the BEST one.:)

What my second Keeper was going to be was definitely a much more difficult choice. For me, picking the BEST of the remaining non-22's was pretty much

a subjective affair, a matter of personal preference, because technically they are all excellent choices in their own right and saying one was better then all

the others for this reason, or that reason, would probably spark some raging debate. Hmmm... now there's a thought.:stirthepot2: I found it interesting that

a good number of you also chose it as well; being a prohib I didn't think many members would be that familiar with it. What's that....... Quit flapping

your gums and get on with it. OK, OK... I chose the Ruger SP101 as my second "Keeper" primarily because of it's size. I think the SP101 is the

perfect size for a revolver: it's not too big and it's not too small, it has a reasonable weight to it (27 oz.) for recoil absorption and, most importantly,

it seems to fit my hand like a glove. I'm really quite impressed with this little revolver. Granted the regulated sights are a bit of a pain in poor lighting, or

background conditions (probably has more to do with my aging eyes), but the gun quite naturally comes onto target, much like a CZ 75. So for me, the

Ruger SP101 is a definite keeper.:D

So there you have it folks, those are my two "Keepers". Thanks for your input, I enjoyed it.

Excellent choices, 358.

I'm a wheelgunner at heart so I agree completely. Given your selection, the 18-3 and the prohib Ruger 357, is the best possible combo for a revolver lover.
