I have an eight year old 12ga Express, never missed a beat in many thousands of rounds. Bought a rifled barrel for it too. Sure it was rough at first but now she slides like glass.
I've used it as a shotgun, a paddle and a club yet she keeps on ticking and makes meat on demand.
Then just today I bought a new Express in 20ga. A quick clean and lube- tonight I fired her up, no dramas. Killed a bunch of pest birds, tested it for POI. She's a keeper and will smooth out over time like her big sister did.
The thing about Express shotguns is to wipe oil into the finish- or they will rust.
Wingmaster VS Express? Wingmaster hands down! But for my own application a Wingmaster is "too nice" for me..
Buy an Express, then spend the other $300 on flats of ammunition and professional instruction.
