Which would be a better build for the money and as far as accuracy? A LRPV in a .223 with a 1 in 7 twist with a bedding job? Or a Stevens 200 with a pre chambered barrel say from Mystic, an aftermarket trigger and a good bed job? Is the stevens stock any good for shooting from bags or bipod?

Thanks

Buy the LRPV buy the time you get a Stevens rifle up to grade you have spent more money than the LRPV would have cost .Will the Stevens modded rifle shoot any better than the LRPV hard to say .If you were going to use the factory tupperware stock from a Stevens rifle you are throwing away your money as the stock will not work it really is garbage so add an aftermarket stock to the equation
Stevens 200 rifle $369.00
Shilen Barrel $440.00
aftermarket trigger $150.00
New stock[non tupperware] $600.00+

install Barrel $100.00 +
Total less Taxes and shipping $1600.00-$1700.00
