I have to sell one of these to buy a revolver that just appeared. Which one would YOU sell?
One is a beautiful Colt pocket hammerless, the other a MINTY Beretta 87.
It's like having to give away one of your kids and I don't even LIKE kids!

Very tough call indeed and I sympathize.
Which one do you shoot better? Which one have you had longer?
I would use the answer to those two questions to make the decision.

I would sell the Colt...but the Colt might be a better longterm investment..then again with 12-6 it doesnt matter so sell the one you like less and screw the money.

Niether, you won't find them again down the road in that condition. Being prohibs, you won't get what they are worth anyway. Sell one of your restricteds, something that you can replace down the road if you want to.

I've only shot the Colt because the Beretta is in such nice shape I'm not sure if I want to shoot it. I have a feeling it is unfired but I can't prove it.
They both feel nice in my hand.
Yes I have little gun syndrome!
My only restricted is my Colt stainless 1911 9mm, another rare bird. I'm not selling that.

I never had a problem selling any gun before but I'm getting sentimental in my old age.

Amen! You're lucky to have that prohib license, hold on to both if you can sell something else instead.

prproulxm, the Colt is the more collectible and still, despite its age, a viable option for carry. The photo is of a Taurus (can you believe that?) and it is one of rarest guns in the USA. There are 10 or less PT57s in the USA; does it look familiar? Regards, Richard:)

Very nice! Thats why I said Taurus made good guns but just don't know how to run their business.

Keep both. Borrow the money for the new gun.

But if you must sell one it should be the Berreta. This is a financial issue and of the two it will command a higher price.

There are probably more Colt 1908s in Canada than Beretta 87s so the 87 is more desirable even among 12-6 holders. The Colt is beautiful but its appeal is more to a collector than a shooter.

What to sell?

They are right - keep both. If space is a problem, sell that old Lee-Enfield and you'll be fine. (Doesn't every Canadian have a Lee-Enfield or two in the closet?)
